You weren’t built to sit still

Welcome to El estudio Pilates

We retrain how
your body moves

Modern life teaches your body habits it was never built for. Desk hours. Screens. Shallow breath. Disconnection.

At el Estudio we help you unlearn those patterns — and build new ones that support how your body is meant to move.

Through structure, expert attention, and real anatomical understanding, we guide you toward strength that lasts, and movement that feels like your own again.

Our philosophy

The smarter way to reconnect with your body

We’re not a workout trend.

We’re a movement discipline — grounded in anatomy, applied neurology, and over 27,000 hours of teaching experience.

Led by international educator Laura Pelinski, our method blends contemporary Pilates with anatomical precision, clear progression, and focused attention.

It’s science-backed, people-focused, and progress-driven — designed to meet your body where it is, and move it forward with care.

What makes our method different

01.

Postural assessment

We begin with a static postural analysis — so we can teach your body, not just a body.

02.

Level-based progression

Our level-based system removes guesswork, follows a clear path that removes pressure — and builds lasting strength.

03.

Equipment with purpose

Reformers, Towers, Chair, and props — always chosen to challenge you intentionally, not randomly.

04.

You’ll always be seen

Small groups. No mirrors. Real-time instruction that meets your body where it is.

05.

We train for real
life

This is movement that carries over — to how you sit, stand, recover, and live.

This studio is great, I highly recommend them. I was brand new to reformer pilates and they are very friendly, have a great selection of classes from classic to athletic & even barre. The classes are challenging and rewarding and the instructors are brilliant. I've seen great improvement in my strength and flexibility since I started. If you're thinking about trying this place or looking for a studio don't hesitate to try here.

I've been attending classes at the West Kensington Studio since it opened late last year - as a local it is brilliant to have such a lovely studio nearby. All of the regular instructors I've had the pleasure of being in class with (in particular Claudia and Anna R.) are excellent. The classes feel personalised, informative and professional, the studio is a great space.

I can't praise the El Studio enough! The equipment, the instructors and the management are all top notch. All helped me to stick with the exercising through some dark moments of my life. Can't recommend enough.

Without a doubt the best Pilates in London! I’ve been a member for a few months and have been able to attend classes at both the wembley park and kensignton olympia studios. The atmosphere in the studios is so lovely- bright, clean spaces with soothing music during classes. All of the teachers provide really detailed instruction and they pay attention to our needs e.g if we have pain in some areas and correcting our form if necessary. I was a total beginner when I joined and now in level 2. I’m way stronger now and closer to my goals.

I signed up to their introductory package to see if it would sort out my sciatica and now I am hooked. The space is bright and light. Silvia is an amazing teacher, who pushes us to our individual maximums. The classes are tough but I leave feeling invigorated and am getting noticeably stronger.

Excellent pilates studio with great instructors

This is for you if

01.

You sit all day — and feel it in your body

Long hours at a desk can reshape your posture, stiffen your spine, and drain your energy. We help you reverse that — one session at a time.

02.

You’ve tried other classes — but nothing clicked

Gyms. Yoga. Even Pilates. But they felt too fast, too generic, or too intense. This is different — structured, intelligent, and designed to meet your body where it is.

03.

You want to rebuild — safely and sustainably

Whether you’re postnatal, 50+, or simply starting over, we guide you with clarity and care — so you can feel stronger, more aligned, and more in control.

Frequently asked questions

Have more questions? Get in touch.
  • Do I need to be flexible or fit to start?

Absolutely not. Most people walk in feeling tight, desk‑bound, or simply “out of practice.” Level 1 classes rebuild healthy movement from the ground up: conscious breathing, core activation, joint alignment. All you need is a body that’s ready to learn. We supply the structure, guidance, and gentle progressions that make everything feel possible—no splits, crunches, or Insta‑fitness required.

  • Is it safe for postnatal recovery or if I’m over 50?

Yes—this is one of our specialties. Our instructors hold additional certifications in postnatal rehabilitation and age‑inclusive movement. We focus on core and pelvic‑floor reconnection, bone density, joint stability, and sustainable strength. Every exercise can be adapted for your energy level, comfort, and any medical guidance you bring with you.

  • What happens in the postural assessment?

Remote photos – Before your first visit you’ll upload two quick posture pics via the app.

Studio check‑in – We observe how you stand, breathe, and move. No judgement, no tape‑measures—just an expert eye on spinal curves, alignment, and muscle‑firing patterns.

Personalised roadmap – Those findings guide spring loads, props, and verbal cues that match your skeleton, not a generic template. Quick, gentle, 100 % about function—never appearance.

  • How is this different from other Pilates or fitness classes?

Most studios queue a playlist and hope you keep up. We do the opposite:

Contemporary Pilates + modern science – biomechanics, applied neurology, spinal rehab

Level‑based progression – every class builds on the last, so you improve without guessing

Mirror‑free, small‑group coaching – instructors see you and adjust in real time

The result? Intelligent movement that lasts—and a body that feels better outside the studio, too.

  • Will I feel a difference in three classes?

    Almost everyone does—often sooner.

    • After Class 1: Lighter posture, easier breathing
    • By Class 3: Noticeably less shoulder/hip tension, stronger core engagement, and a grounded sense of confidence

These first sessions aren’t a “quick fix”; they’re the foundation for long‑term change, and you’ll feel that shift immediately.

  • What happens after the intro pack?

At the end of class 3 your instructor reviews your goals and progress, then recommends a clear next step—Level 2 classes, a membership, or a few private sessions for deeper focus. No pushy sales; just a roadmap if you’d like to continue.

  • What should I know before class?

    • Arrive 10 minutes early—anyone more than 10 minutes late can’t join for safety reasons.
    • Wear fitted clothing and grip socks (sold in studio). Avoid zips, metal buttons, heavy fragrance, and loose jewellery.
    • Bring water; we have a refill station.
    • Need to cancel? Do so in the app or online 12 hours in advance. Some packs include one free late cancel grace—email us before start time to use it.
  • How do I book a class?

    1. Schedule page – pick your studio and click Book.
    2. el Estudio app – book, cancel, or wait‑list on the go.

Both routes take you to our secure Mindbody checkout. Prefer human help? Call or email and we’ll book it in seconds.
